On a lovely June day in Maine I enjoyed photographing Amy and Sam's 'rustic' wedding. The weather was beautiful, sunny and temperate. Amy was a striking beauty juxtaposed against the aging-farm backdrop. They are such a lovely couple with lovely families. Thank you for choosing this PA gal for your awesome event.
And then there were 4!!! Congratulations to Nathan and Katie who welcomed little Oliver to their ever-growing clan of handsome boys. What an amazing family...and a beautiful mommy :) Katie is as put-together as she looks. Sigh. Great job guys!
So I recently photographed a friend's baby shower that was certainly atypical. Hosted at an art venue called "Stage on Herr," it was a hip and low-key atmosphere, in a room with a long wooden bar which was engulfed by a flood of actual sunlight. If that alone was not enough of a swim against the usual flow of baby showers there were also no frilly decorations or corny games, and the festivities were surrounded by works of art covering the walls and a stage ready to embrace whichever band would play there next. The best part was the couple and the new baby we were celebrating.
It was time for a portrait session for my lovely friend, Erin. We had fun photographing at the train station, a place I've used as a backdrop before. Here's the result...I love the train station, and Erin looks great :)
Once again I was given the honor of capturing another woman's pregnancy beauty through photographs. Kim is expecting child number 3 and looks fabulous doing it.
I had a fantastic opportunity to photograph in Attic Studios. It is a state-of-the-art, super hip recording studio, hailing out of Harrisburg, PA, and is managed by one of the most uber-talented musicians and songwriters I know, Nathan Horst. He so kindly invited me to photograph some of his space, filled with the tools of the trade, some recognizable, and some not-so-recognizable, instruments and gear, a sure sign of musical minds and talents whom had gathered to record that day. Thank you Nathan. A link to Attic Studios website is coming soon.
Little Bean! Finally, Chris and Yana's littlest, big gift has arrived. The pure joy of the new mom and dad could only be out-matched by the perfection of their first son, Ruehl. I am honored to be asked to photograph the 9-day old, and I hope the photos have truly captured the spirit and potential of this little man of destiny.
I received my associates degree in Photography from Harrisburg Area Community College in 2007. I aspire to photograph your wedding, your biggest moments, your beautiful story with a fresh, artful eye. Contact me for pricing and availability. cpelellaphotography@gmail.com
