Tiffany!

A beautiful friend and fellow photographer, Tiffany Farley, was gracious and kind enough to photograph my family this past weekend. I finally get to have my own family beautifully captured so I can swoon (a Tiffany word) over them for a lifetime. Now it's my turn to return the favor. Hopefully it will be as well received.

Heather & Sam

On a balmy day in March (mid 70's!!) Heather and Sam tied the knot in the quaint village at the Landis Valley Museum. Really, it was such a fantastic location. It was rustic and picturesque and a nice change of pace for me. Pretty much everywhere I turned I saw another inspiring backdrop to photograph the newlyweds. The warm, dreamy sunlight didn't hurt either.

Amelie

Sweet Amelie! Such a doll to photograph. It has been an honor to capture yet another milestone of this beautiful family. And such great results!! It makes me excited to keep photographing. Thank you!

Life is Beautiful

>

Capturing the moments in life that are the most important, even if they are the least transforming, is what I am constantly trying to do. Trying to freeze a snapshot of every single amazing thing my kids do, expression they make, or emotion they stir in me is my constant and enduring desire. I don't write a single amazing thing down. Just try to log it in my memory and hope it never leaves or fades. That proves harder than it sounds. These photos of tea-time and dress-up are just an effort to hold on to one moment out of hundreds that arrests my heart on a daily basis. They are proof that life is indeed beautiful.

Holland and Paris

So its only taken 8 months (really?? 8 months already???) but I've finally decided to blog some pictures of my trip to Holland and Paris. Thanks to my amazing Dutch friends I was able to travel around to some beautiful places. I had a total God-moment when I stood in front of the tulip fields in North Holland for the first time when they were fully in bloom. Really, it was one of my dreams to do that, and I was blessed enough to see it fulfilled. Kind of surreal to see the Eiffel Tower in person as well.

Blake

I got a chance to photograph a handsomely dressed little Blake at the Star Barn, a new venue for me. It proved to be a great location (thanks, friends, for suggesting it). And thanks to the little boy who made my photos so great.

Everley

Everley and those searingly beautiful blue eyes! Her mom says she's small and mighty. I would add gorgeous and intense to that. What a doll.
