Madison and Shaun

Sunny yellow hues, perfectly warm summer temperatures, and lots of happy people were some of the details that set the scene of Madison and Shaun's August 3rd wedding. It just so happened to be at one of my favorite venues to photograph, Springhaven Woods. This was the same setting as the gorgeous baby shower I photographed last summer, and I've had the privilege of coming back a few times since. Really, this was a wedding that I was so happy to attend. The bride and groom had such affection and kindness towards each other. The light and the weather was beautiful. The band was jamming. With a smile on my face, I danced while I snapped away.

Leslie--Maternity Miracle

I am honored and thrilled to photograph the maternity session of my friend, Leslie, and her miraculous pregnancy. She was told she could never have children without medical help. And here she is. Pregnant almost full-term, with a healthy, growing baby. No medical help. Just God doing His thing. And I get to capture the miracle through photos, to hold them as a memorial of God's grace and love. This is when taking photos goes beyond being just my job and crosses over into a realm of documenting the impossible.  This is when I get to create reminders of the miraculous. This makes my job so much cooler.

Anna and Jesse

It was an honor and a privilege this past Memorial Day to photograph the wedding of Anna, the beautiful bride, and Jesse, a United States Marine. The weather was truly divine. Seriously, it could not have been a more gorgeous day to celebrate a wedding and a commitment. Once again, I was blessed to be the person to capture the moments and some of the essence of two people in love. Congrats Anna and Jesse. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.
